It seems the internet is getting better everyday as a mean to communicate values. This weekend, a friend of mine was telling me about “wherethehellismatt” and included in his e-mail “playingforchange” (a great concept and smart play on words for a donation-based business).
These are incredible stories because they show how the “physical world” is starting to mimic the internet.
• Initially the “real” world was translated into a “virtual world”
• Then the “virtual world” changed our activities in the “real world”
• Now the virtual world is changing our values and there is no boundary between “physical” and “virtual” worlds, just two parts of the real world
Matt, Kiva, Playingforchange and others are showing how we can live up to greater values through better transparency, communication and solidarity.
